Publication Opportunities at AFW 2027
AFW offers three levels of publication, and you choose how far you go: abstract only, full paper in the Proceedings, or consideration for a journal.
Three Levels of Publication
Level 1 · ISBNConference Abstract Book (ISBN)
Every accepted and registered abstract is published in the Conference Abstract Book, assigned an ISBN, and made available on the day of the event.
Some participants prefer to publish only their abstract here and reserve the full paper for a journal elsewhere. That is entirely acceptable — you are under no obligation to publish your full text with us.
Level 2 · ISSN + DOIConference Proceedings (ISSN, DOI)
Full papers submitted after the conference undergo double-blind peer review before publication in the Conference Proceedings. Accepted papers receive an ISSN and a Crossref DOI. The proceedings are submitted to Google Scholar for indexing consideration.
Conditions: the full paper must follow the Author Guidelines, be original and unpublished, and pass double-blind review.
Level 3Journal Publication Opportunities
Selected full papers may be considered for publication opportunities in Scopus-indexed journals; final acceptance depends on paper quality and the decision of journal editors.
Journal editors make all final decisions independently of the conference.
Peer Review and Editorial Process
Full paper submitted after the conference, following the Author Guidelines
Similarity check with Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate)
Double-blind review by two or more Scientific Committee members
Decision: accept, revise, or decline
Revisions where requested, then final acceptance
Copy-editing, DOI registration, and publication in the Proceedings
Publication Ethics and Plagiarism
AFW enforces a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All manuscripts are checked using Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate) before evaluation by the Scientific Committee. Submissions identified as plagiarised are rejected without review.
Authors retain the rights to their own work and grant AFW permission to publish the accepted abstract and, where applicable, the full paper in conference outputs.
Indexing and Visibility
Each published paper is assigned a DOI through Crossref. The proceedings are submitted to Google Scholar for indexing consideration. Applications are also made to services such as DOAJ, and inclusion is decided by each service.
