Call for Papers & Abstracts — Global Conference on AI and Future of Work 2027
Call for Papers
The Global Conference on AI and Future of Work (AFW) invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and doctoral candidates to submit abstracts for presentation in Seoul, 21–23 May 2027.
This call for papers on the future of work is open to theoretical, empirical, and practice-based work. If you have a study, an economic analysis, an organisational case study, a policy evaluation, a systematic review, or a critical argument about how AI is changing work, jobs, and workers, it belongs here.
What we are looking for. Original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under review at another venue. We are equally interested in findings that complicate the popular narrative — the field is full of confident predictions and short on evidence, and AFW exists to close that gap. Practitioner and case-based submissions are welcome on the same terms as research — this is a conference about work, and the people doing it belong in it.
What submission involves. Send a 200–250 word abstract with 3–5 keywords through the online submission form. No fee is charged to submit. Your abstract is reviewed double-blind by the Scientific Committee and you receive a decision by email within 7–14 days.
Submissions are welcome from every sector and every country. Interdisciplinary and cross-sector perspectives are strongly encouraged.
What acceptance gives you. A presentation slot in your chosen format, publication of your abstract in the Conference Abstract Book with an ISBN, and the option — never the obligation — to submit a full paper afterwards for the Conference Proceedings (ISSN, DOI).
Conference Themes and Topics
Key areas include, but are not limited to:
Submissions are welcome from every sector and every country, including from economies where AI adoption is only beginning. If your topic is related to the themes above but not explicitly listed, you are still encouraged to submit.

After Acceptance
Your abstract is published in the Conference Abstract Book (ISBN) once you register. After the conference you may — optionally — submit a full paper for the Conference Proceedings (ISSN, Crossref DOI). Selected full papers may be considered for publication opportunities in Scopus-indexed journals; final acceptance depends on paper quality and the decision of journal editors.
Choosing not to submit a full paper does not affect your abstract's publication in any way.
